The height to which the pump can lift the water is called Head pressure. The actual capacity is about 10% less than what is stated by the manufacturer. This is due to physical limitations like the bends in the pipe etc. You should make sure that the head pressure of the pump that you install is sufficiently high to lift the accumulated water to the outlet pipe.
